This album was composed sampling sounds from the Commodore 64 SID chip and programming/mixing them through modern-day trackers. The aim was to respect the limitations of the original machine's hardware as much as possible, therefore only 3 simultaneous audio channels were used; they were just put to stereo for a better listening experience.

It's a concept-album about a ninja travelling to the evil shogun Nobunaga's lair to fight him and to restore the honour of its family clan in ancient Japan. The album is envisioned like the adventurous journey of the warrior through cursed forests, underground passages and finally the shogun's castle, battling evil forces, demons and various kind of earhtly and unearthly enemies.

The music and concepts are inspired by the magnificent works of C64 composers such as Ben Daglish, Matt Gray, Jeroen Tel, Chris Hülsbeck, Jonathan Dunn, David Lowe, Tim Follin and all the other heroes who marked my childhood, as well as celebrating the 80s ninja craze made popular by movies, videogames and other media of that era.

Hope this album brings you back to the glorious times of 80s/early 90s videogames and makes you daydream of distant worlds and times!
